it was definitely fudged, i watched the game from start to finish and there would of been no more than 2-3k there

Btw, when AFL, union and soccer start having Monday night, and Thursday night games televised each week, you reckon their average crowds would grow, or go down.

See the coach talked about the threat to rl on the Gold Coast!!! Lots of juniors going to play Aussie rules as AFL spending lots of money promoting the game . I have seen this a lot personally , with many kids in my sons club coming over from rl. Talk back radio today discussed it briefly with everyone ringing in saying that their child went to Aussie rules . All rl supporters. Reasons... Rl too dangerous, rl comp here poorly run and organised, came over to AFL and wouldn't go back as AFL very well run . Now don't shoot the messenger just relaying comments. And dave, that bubble I live in must be shared with the titans coach, Darren Lockyer, and the titans board.

When the team starts winning again, the crowds will turn up, it's quite simple really spammer.

As an RL fan, this is appalling. A team with a great roster, nrl winners and couldn't pull a crowd. I couldn't even watch the game as I was disgusted with the crowd. This is an embarasement to Sydney, the nrl and Australia. One of the reasons I hate the roosters, fan base. Any other team in the nrl, AFL soccer I'm sure their crowds would go up when they won the premiership. Disgusting.

the AFL does occasionally play the Thursday & Monday night fixture, playes evening & twilight games nearly every sunday as well. whilst it does effect the crowds a bit
but a fudged number of 6k in NRL heartland in the middle of Sydney as the SFS

Dave has said I live in a bubble when I comment on how well the AFL is doing on the Gold Coast. He knows better living in Canberra as to how the AFL is doing and how well rl is doing on the Gold Coast. Seems dave also knows more than prominent rl people such as the titans coach for past 8 years and Darren Lockyer.
