I'm not sure but they'd definitely not be far off and prob make it in their second year. My team? It'd include a few ex players but would scrub up pretty good again most AFL teams outside the top 4 and would absolutely obliterate gws  I haven't put in the complete team but you get the idea how they'd shape up against a gws. Feel free to fill in the lineup :)

Fb: Jarryd hayne

Pocket:Eric Grothe junior

Halfbacks: Scott Morris, josh carney, john hopoate

Ruck: willie mason

Followers: josh Morris, billy slater, Andrew johns

Wing: Steve 'blocker' roach, Anthony mundine

Forward pocket: josh Dugan, Blake ferguson, a case of Bacardi breeders and a bottle of rum

Forward line: Israel folou, fui fui moi moi, Gordon Tallis, roger tuivasa sheck, Sam backo

Yep, these blokes'd put 10 goals on those Sheila's playing for gws :\:

hasnt there already been 2 of the NRL's finest Falou and Michael hunt try and make it in the AFL and failed
isafailure Folau played for 2 seasons for the GWS and couldn't get a regular game, even though his team mates where teenages and GWS won the wooden spoon both years.
since then folau has gone over to union and is staring

Karnt play AFL michael hunt, is still on the GCS list struggling to get a game, again thesuns have won a wooden spoon and a team filled with young kids
going by news paper reports he is off to join the QLD reds.

so keep stroking it Eliagh,
the NRL players are to stupid, to slow, to unco simply, not good enough to play AFL & to put make it more funny Folau goes off and stars for Australia in union

what does that say about the stupid game of league :thumbleft:

The fact of the matter is two nrl players made it to the AFL

They got there and played, and sometimes they played quite well, hence the validity that a well chosen bunch of nrl players could go well as a team as a part of the next AFL expansion. God knows the AFL have already over drawn from the available talent pool of players causing the comp to be incredibly lopsided so it'd be a master stroke if the AFL expanded by throwing more money at rl players. The team of rl players would do much better than gws and would likely be playing finals footy after three Years.

Playing the odd reasonable game isnt going to make a decent team. Its going to make a horrible team with only a few of the players playing reasonable at a time, and the rest terrible

Sure they'd need some training and time to build but they'd get there in 3 years. Considering the AFL has numerous crud teams I think the rl boys'd finish around 13 or 14 on the ladder in their first season.

This is just a wind up even KE doesn't believe what he's saying - if RL were so good then there would be many playing in the AFL already because AFL players are paid more - or even in the NFL but there ain't - their too fat, slow and stupid to play anything else but RL!

they got picked, on what they did in the NRL in the belief they could coupe in the AFL, and how they failed
cant play AFL michael hunt, even played AFL as a junior, had a year off to train and condition him self, and still cant get a game.
folau, at the peak of his career, moved across to AFL, only to be shown to be to stupid, to slow, so unskilled, to unfit, to play AFL on data points the 2nd worst player in the AFL.

so going by the 2 failure, a team of 18 of the NRL best would be an AFL team playing against a disabled team

It's a fair point... Given AFL players are generally on far bigger coin, if any could they would. In saying that, billy slatter would be a gun had he grown up on AFL. I suspect several players who are just natural athletes and playing nrl would make it in the sport they grew up on. And really, for a wind up you need to do better ke.
