This game will be huge and will no doubt put the NRL to shame when it comes to crowds at ANZ Stadium.
Go Tahs, do our state/nation proud.

they sold 22,000 tickets for the final the day after their win and another 12,000 today
final attendance will be interesting
the last nrl game hosted there was the bulldogs game which drew a little over 9,000 (lol), a day later, the raiders hosted a match in canberra against the mighty south sydney and drew 9k as well

Yet my team who has 2 spoons to its name in the last two years has gotten crowds bigger than any A League game In Australia for the last couple of years including finals and whatnot at that same ground in their LAST game there.
No Union side has got a crowd above what the eels got this year in Australia and no SR Union side in the history on Super Rugby Union has got anywhere near my teams biggest crowds.
You and Bea are full of shit.

Raiders had a final a few years back and sold it completely out in 2 hours.
What's up Union fans?
Not enough support around to fill it eh?

A prelim final last week against the Brumbies only got 38k.
If manly got that to a prelim, we'd all be tearing strips off them and quite rightly too imo because it would be seen as letting the game down.
Yet if other codes get these crowds, it's lauded and screamed from the rooftops it was a success.

v the Tigers in 2010
27,000 tickets ( standing room had to be made available )all of them went in a few hours
if Canberra had a stadium that held 40,000 .... it would of been filled easily
in 2012 it took a bit longer to sellout Canberra Stadium for the final against Cronulla
25,000 in a day & a half
meanwhile the Brumbies have barely half filled Canberra Stadium for the last 2 years in a row for finals

:_<> :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>
but yeah
Canberra's a union town right fumblers ?

that's probably because the other codes don't go around beating their chests about being gods gift to us all!
hence why it's humbling...and often hilarious, to see 'little sports' like soccer, union outdraw nrl in leagues 'heartland'!

Um, you were saying dickhead?
Ticket sales were expected to reach 50,000 overnight on Wednesday, with Suncorp Stadium's 2011 final mark of 52,000 looking vulnerable and leaving plenty of time to break the all-time Super Rugby record of 55,000.
Interest in corporate packages left stadium officals gobsmacked, with 195 of the venue's 230 suites and boxes sold on Wednesday.
Stadium general manager of sales and sponsorship Shane Stoddard said interest from the big end of town was the biggest the stadium had seen since 2012, when tickets to Manchester United's pre-season exhibition game went on sale.
