I would understand a team losing a little bit of direction when a key player is out. But this is laughable.

Your game has shite loads of players on the field, one gets injured and the team goes straight to the top of KE's BBL.

I like the part in the attached article which suggests GC have never won without him. :_<>

Short answer... FUCKING yes.
One bloke takes a few weeks off to further his movie career & his team plays like utter unco *********..well more than the usual derpball team.

Best player in the land missing, leaving an extremely young and inexperienced team.

Yep, so, as I said. You would of expected them to lose a bit of direction and at least compete with a struggling side like the lions. Not struggle to beat gws. I have heard in hear thousand times that they a good side worthy or going to make the finals. Yet without him they are beaten by the same margin that they beat brisbane by last time

There have been many upsets in the AFL this season. Last just beat 2nd, last week ffs!

Young teams always struggle towards the end of the season. Happens every year

Yeah good one, tanking after being in contention for the finals.

Maybe I was wrong.
Is this team One of the "Special needs" Clubs?.

That is a club that AFL house will move Heaven & Earth to make sure is successful.
One of the chosen few that benefit from EXTRA everything ,
Funny how its non heartland clubs that get the "Legalised Cheating" benefits from AFL house,& all to the detriment of long established heartland clubs.

So maybe they didn't tank.....I suppose you don't have to when you are already getting the Extras that most other clubs don't get.
What a fair & equitable comp you follow.

ive seen teams in all sports crumble when their key player runs into a bad run of form or gets injured. thats why they build those teams around those players...because thats what their talent suggests

perfect thread to deflect the attention away from the bulldogs game which only drew 9k at anz while the rugby union sold out the sfs though...but i dont miss much!!!!!!!

9000, was that the team that was going to be bigger than Collingwood in a few years
Biggest club in the country, SANFL teams get that many to games.
