International RL expanding,..aFl LOL LOL LOL.

As much as the resident afl mongs on here like to talk up AFL internationally :lol: :lol: :>:: :>:: :>:: :>:: they are dropping further & further behind.
Its like being 5 lengths last in a Horse race & going backwards.

Still no pro or semi pro comps anywhere but One country.

A token game played in NZ with ticket giveaways yet from last yr to this a massive decline in attendance.

PNG joined the Q cup this yr.
PNG residents playing out of PNG.

NSW cup ,FIJi residents playing out of FIJI will be playing in the 2016 comp.
As well as an NZ side.

2nd tier RL is far more international than AFL can ever hope to be.

Im sure Cos im mental will come on here & tell a few good ones .
Will be entertaining...

Petero Civoniceva & Greg Browne are proud to announce that they have secured the rights for a franchise rugby league team to play out of Fiji in the New South Wales Cup Competition in 2016. The Fiji Bid Team have received endorsements from the New South Wales Rugby League Board, along with the Fiji National Rugby League and the Fiji Sports Council.

Nice.

The talent these Island nations have for full contact footy codes is unbelievable, with PNG and Fiji having teams in the feeder comps at least, that means the national sides will more or less become pro within a few short seasons. last nights Parra v Souths game had at least 3 Fijian players running around.

I'm happy for afl to remain an Australian comp ... Sure explore around for talent but just like American football, Australian football does exceedingly well as a domestic comp.
