Cold day in QLD,& I have my choice of watching the NRL on Fox , NZ Warriors V Penrith ,or on CH9 The Q cup with PNG V Northern Pride.
Wow ,more international games(above expats & amateurs) in one day than fumbleball has in its history & can ever hope to have.
Which Melb suburb v Melb suburb game is keeping the southern insular folk interested?.

Cant see fumbleball having too much of an impact in either of these countries.
A lot of Non White folk.
& that would not fit in with some of the recruiting policies of "Whiteyball"

Can't even get the indians in their own backyard to get within 10 miles of the shit for fear of being belted

Then they go & do this.
Talk about LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME.

HAKA FAILS TO INSPIRE
ST KILDA might as well organise a church choir next time because the haka yesterday did nothing for them.
Richmond flew in the face of St Kilda’s celebration of its relationship with New Zealand outscoring the Saints six goals to one in the first quarter.
St Kilda yesterday also announced it had appointed Wellington-based business guru Liz Dawson to its board of directors.
2 Australian teams playing in Aust at an Aust stadium & they do a HAKA.
What fucking planet do these taaaards live on?.
They would slit their own mothers throat for a shred of international credibility..

Alway admired the away the NRL expanded into New Zealand. Smart move, it was a shame they couldn't keep their WA and SA teams after the super league. They would be more national then the AFL if they had.

RL in NZ is like
RL in England, france
its only because union is the dominate code is the reason why league exists
& how strong are those leagues when over half of the players what play in the RL world cup are Australian
& the Australian side still dominates, as they have won 7 out of the last 8
yeah a real international game.
a bunch of amateur leagues going up against the glorified

amateur league of the NRL, funded by pokes

nice international sport you have there, a world cup where 60% of the players were born in australia and only 2 actual professional leagues on the planet that exist(both of which combined still isn't as big as the AFL or a true world sport like soccer)
rugby league is the national sport of png, a country where not a single road exists, a country that has lower gdp than the municipality of bankstown, a country that no one could point out on a map!
truly scraping at the bottom of the barrel guys
if you want to be involved in something huge, get up at 2am and watch the world cup along with the other 700 million of us
