Not wanting to rock the boat, Wookie, but it can be argued that demanding proof can be a part of "the game" if you like. Yes, providing proof can swing the fight your way, but that proof could also be countered and on it goes. Making demands can be good for this reason, especially for someone who has a rep for not giving (Raider springs to mind, and to an extent Cracker in his dispute with you over the Lions - although in the end I think that was more about opinion of your sources than anything).

I know it's no longer the rule, but the false claims thing when Xman was still here did do some good - notwithstanding the fight you had with him over....what was it again? State of Origin ID or something?

Well said and welcome aboard wookie, those rules you quoted were made by active members a few years back. It's nice to see a mod using the old if it ain't broke don't fix it. Those rules will put you in good stead.

As for proof rule. That was never gunna work and it never did really. As you said t opened the joint up for chaos and leaves the mod in a difficult position.

Finally it looks as tho we got a mod with some bloody common sense!

As always, I'll be monitoring and moderating the moderators on behalf of the members. I'll stick to the pm rule for now but in the past, when pms resulted in no response/ignoring from the powers that be, Then KE hits the boards and makes things happen same will happen in the future.

And finally, my commiserations to cwacker who had the shortest and one of our most contentious reigns as mod. Whatta character he certainly was

eliagh is already doing some brown noising, it will only be a short time, untill he will be winding up his fellow basement dwelling brigade, aflcrapper and asssraider dave, and starting the dummy spits and calling and a new mod

Only Xman will know for sure, but I would suggest that he was reacting to reports by others, not just jumping on every thread. Anyway, the whole idea was to get people to back up what they say. You happen to be good at it. There are members here who are lousy at it.
