AFL and NRL figures use the same ratings source, its completely disengenuous and completely one eyed to suggest that one is false and the other is true.

The 2013 Toyota AFL Grand Final attracted an average national audience on the Seven Network of 3,663,423, maintaining the Grand Final as the most watched annual sports event in Australia
AFL GF. - Avg 3.66, Peak 4.48

NRL SOO - Avg. 4.2, Peak 4.85

Less viewers over a longer period hardly represents more viewers :blahblah: :blahblah: :blahblah:

Shown live it will continue to outrate the AFL. Just as NRLs Foxtel matches will continue to outrate the AFLs.

thats every single area except for pokes the AFL totally owns the NRL in :)))
