Perhaps because it's unusual in Brisbane that the SOO wouldn't sell out almost as soon as tickets became available, maybe? I'm not saying it justifies a doomsday prediction, but it is a worthy subject in the code wars.

No. The best crowd for a State of Origin is a full house.

Not in Brisbane they don't. State of Origin there is always a full house.

Complain after the match if it isn't a sell out, why open yourselves up to look like loons?

Scratch that, you people are frigging dumb, that's why.

like every other NRL game, no where near a sell out, even after free hand outs, free public transport

NRLOL $25 million

Because some of us feel that the way the NRL and 9 promote SOO above all is completely wrong. It is ruining the club games at this time of year, and it's only gotten worse, years ago we didn't have this many problems and origin was over in no time. It was used to pick the aus team to take on other opponents and put aus at the top, not NSW or Qld. Now the people in charge use origin to stop the others from keeping their best all to the detriment of the international game.

You have some players using the excuse that they will swap codes because they cant play SOO and for their home nation.

That's what ch 9 have turned SOO into.
