It's interesting that I make a few decisions based purely in member behaviour and not in what code they follow, and the paranoid labels follow. I suggest you all just sit back and wait because I'm sure it will become clear - once you decide to get back to fighting about rugby league v Aussie Rules and associated material - that I am not AFL but neutral.

I have edited the poll questions accordingly to remove this incorrect and premature perception of bias. I see no need to add that edit to the log.

From this point on it appears members best not use wit, intelligence, humour, anti AFL slogans, nor tell it how it is in regards to moderating. This is what we've inherited.

It's very amusing that you try to clutch at straws, gentlemen, whether it be perceived AFL bias (which is fact I did not do in editing the poll - I removed an NRL bias and made the poll neutral) or the paranoia of thinking that I am in fact another member in disguise.

I am yet to show any AFL bias. It is mere coincidence that all of those who are attacking the moderator are NRL supporters. If any AFL supporters behaved in the same way you have been behaving, they would have been treated the same. As the AFL supporters have been behaving themselves so far, naturally appearances can be deceptive. I have deleted nothing else yet (although I see King Eliagh has commented on the racism thread so I'll be clicking on that half expecting the worst - but we shall see).

Fair point on your basketcase opinion piece KE. It was a deluded yet funny troll thread but it was no different to many anti NRL threads posted over the years and if you are going to delete it, then a lot of other threads should also be deleted.
As to the poll, why not make it non bias, at least the results will more legitimate as a vote.

I already gave notice that the Basketcase thread would be deleted under the false claim rule. It is false that there is a basketcase in the AFL, so that claim can not stand. There have been no claims against the NRL that have been proven false.

Now if there have been claims that are false against the NRL, show them to me and if they are false I will delete them. I couldn't get any more unbiased than that.

btw thanks piesman, once again you're on the money. Hey also btw piesman...you wouldnt consider putting yourself up as just a part time mod of this forum again? I mean markzzz is generally pretty quiet but he's now installed as co-mod and seriously, the place was running quite nicely before cwackpot came aboard.

I think you may have killed this website because this site is all about opinions and you can choose to take them seriously while most people dont. It was KEs opinion that there were roughly half a dosen really poor AFL clubs in the league that struggle to get wins. He coined the term "basketcase league" to represent these clubs. There was never a factual basketcase league nor did he claim it was fact.
This thread however represent many threads on this board as a bit of a laugh and is no different to the NRL is dead in SA thread, or the AFL is stuck in the homophobic 50's thread.
