2014 An even AFL competition going forward.

Onfield results always have a large bearing on the strength of clubs and the evenness of the competition
but 2014 is a lot better for the smaller clubs than for previous years and a large step towards a more uniform competition.
Brissie still struggling but hardly basketcase
GWS starting on an upward curve and achieved the biggest surprise win of the season.
Gold Coast very much on the upward curve
St Kilda competitve
Western Bulldogs more competitve than predicted
Melbourne slowly on the improve under Roos.
Not so long ago everybody was predicting the demise of PA.
Today they have over 50,000 members and playing out of a classy stadium in the city and predicted to be the new powerhouse.
2014 has seen a general improvement in the lesser clubs.
With equalistaion being moved to top of the AFL agenda I see continuing improvement of position of the smaller clubs.
Something is going to happen for the best with NM in Tasmainia or Ballarat or both.
St Kilda will continue to play games in NZ and their future is open-ended.
I'm pretty sure Good Friday games will be given to the lesser clubs which will be a big boost for them.
Basketcase. Really only Carlton this year - what a surprise - but that wont last too long with the resources we know that exist at carlton.
..

Can you provide any actual proof to prove these statements? Just a skerrick of proof?

Please? I mean otherwise you'd be called up for Xmans newly instituted rule, if the implementation of the rule was consistent that is.

Xman whattaya reckon about the codswallop above? Let it slide because it fits your opinion? Or make cos prove it?

Just look at the results and statistics.
If you actually followed football you'd know better.

Am currently watching GWS, against what most AFL people would consider a fairly ordinary adeliade squad, cop an absolute thumping. Is this the stats and results you're talking about cos?
GWS look, as they have since their inception, like a team of boys who would struggle to compete in the vfl. Adelaide, like all other competitive AFL teams, look like they're in a gentle training run rather than an AFL match.
I'm sorry the AFL comp is like this too guys but acknowledgement is the first step here, ok.

Where's your proof cos? The GWS v Sydney debacle? I think that'll prove to be as rare as hens teeth rather than proof champ
If you actually followed footy you'd see im talking reality.

So a visiting team is getting a flogging in Adelaide!
Stop the press

The desperateness is hilarious. The games over. It's been a training run from start to finish. Like a local 1st div team practising against their 4th div team on a tues night training run. A no contest. And this was basically always going to be the result with sporting bet putting GWs at 7/1 odds to win a two horse race

. Kinda stymies your pathetic argument and suggestion that adeliade thrash most who to Adelaide there xman

7-1 odds

guess that's what you'd put the local 4th div side playing their first div side to win eh?
If you guys knew anything about footy you'd understand

Adelaide have dished out this treatment to numerous decent teams over the years
In fact the margin hasn't really changed since part way through the second quarter
After round 5 2013 a total of 6 teams had 1 win or less. So far this year the number is only 4, and when Adelaide win it will be 3. If Melbourne beat the subs it will be 2.
6 last year, down to 3 or 2. Any comment KE?

Really lame stats ther xman when you consider that basketcasers are playing eachother more and more each season due to the afls rules around setting the draw
The scorelines and on field performacnes are what we gotta go off. Adelaide have taken the foot off the pedal, they had it won an hour ago and have never looked like losing since. Uncompetitive is the only way to describe gws. Whatever you say cannot disprove this xman and if you knew anything about footy you'd agree with me

Got proof of this? Otherwise I'm deleting it
