Recently during lively debate about ratings(Cwapper V RD bet)a claim...no not really a claim more a straight out lie was made by TLPG about Storm games into Melb.
The Lie was that ALL MELB STORM games(24 in a reg season) were shown on FTA .
No proof was shown ,no source.(Imagine my shock at a fumbler telling whoppers)yet it was latched onto as GOSPEL truth by Cwapper...as usual..

So far after repeated requests for proof ,none has been forthcoming.

So any other fumblers want to help your fellow bullshit artists out & find a source ...
Any proof.

Anyone at all..

Did they genuinely say this? If so it was untrue. I think they had about 4-6 FTA games in total

most storm games shown on FTA, time slots do change though

How about some proof..

The majority of Storm games are on STV..

Ch 9 rarely if ever replay a pay tv game .

AFLc is correct. The storm weren't shown on FTA most of the year. Their arrangement isn't like the Swans in Sydney, hence their outrage when they signed that dog of a TV rights

when i left Melbourne in 04, the storm games where shown at around 7.30pm live on the fridays & Saturday nites. by the end of the footy seasons they where relegated to late nite replays, due to poor numbers.

it takes me back to the day then you come home around 1am after the pub shuts watching a bit of tv and flicking through the channels, eventually getting to the NRL, noticing the empty stadium & ray warren screaming at he top of his lungs how exciting is this, "some dude running like a fucktard then diving chest first on the ground ball under his arm followed by a bunch of his team mates coming over & dry humping him as he throws the ball up in the air in excitement

it surprises me how much bumblers know about the NRL. i mean you can even name Ray Warren, when i dont think i know anyone that follows league that knows a single commentator in the AFL. and most of the time any player outside of the swans (even then just goodes and buddy)

I did hear that GEM in Victoria were replaying Storm games, but I don't have anything to prove it. Heresay doesn't count I guess. Someone should check out historical TV guides.

But I do know that six games were shown live on Nine at least. The fixture from last year said so, not that I was interested as I'm a Bulldogs man.

RD showed proof that 5 games were shown into Melb on FTA.

Cwapper reckons the average should be the all MELB Storm games ..24 divided by the TV audience of the 5 televised .
He knew he had lost.
Then TLPG says ALL games were shown..That is a lie.
Cwapper lapped up as usual the lie.
