Dear Lord,
Why? Why would he do such a thing? What on earth is wrong with him? I imagine all our members would agree this is quite horrible for the AFL and the swans to see this bloke wearing his swans jacket on the night he groped this poor woman
Apparently he's done this before aswell...

Horrible for the city of Sydney. I'm sure all our Sydney residents are ashamed of themselves and their association with this man

No he wasn't actually wearing anything that said he represents Sydney city. For all the public know he could be from anywhere. He was wearing a swans jacket though, showing who he supports.
We'd all have to agree the swans and the AFL would be fairly miffed he chose this outfit on the night he groped.

That jacket is all over the world now, as the jacket of the indecent assaulter...

And Sydney. Stop deflecting. His actions were performed IN the city of Sydney and he was wearing apparel supporting a Sydney sporting club. Sin city strikes again

At least there are females at AFL games.

What sort of a comeback is that Xman? Comon man. Pick up yer game champ
Cant you just admit its not good publicity for the swans nor the AFL to know this creep is out there.
I think beaussie might know him. Beaussie do you know this guy? Do you think the swans could do something about this unfortunate incident? Or is the best bet to simply deflect the issue like Xman has? I'd prob keep real quiet if I were the swans...and hope it just goes away.

I heard about this incident days ago. I never heard anything about what he was wearing or who he was supporting. I'd say the vast majority of people care about what he did, not what he was wearing.

Well, perhaps Xman but the fact remains, this groper is a committed sydney swans member and its something the club nor the AFL would be impressed to see that he did this act whilst wearing their emblem. Don't you think?

YOU’LL forgive the Swans for being a little distracted during Tuesday afternoon’s training session.
Sofia Vergara, start of hit television show Modern Family, watched on with interest as John Longmire put Sydney’s players through their paces at Moore Park.
“I did see Sofia here — and she looked all right,” Sam Reid told the Swans’ website. “There are bigger (Modern Family) fans than me, but I do like the show.
“I think coach John (Longmire) missed the last 15 minutes of training having a chat.”
Vergara has been nominated for seven Screen Actors Guild Awards, four prime time Emmys and four Golden Globe Awards.

This is low, even for you KE. The guy follows all sports passionately in Sydney including rugby league. And FYI, the bloke has a disability. Attacking people with disabilities now are we? Oh you're so brave KE.
A man claiming to be Lakmas’s uncle insists his nephew was is innocent and claimed a mental condition — for which he receives a disability pension — led to people often misinterpreting him.
“He has been on a pension his whole life and cannot work, but he has been crying non-stop since this has happened,” said the man, who identified himself only as Mr A Akmas.
“He gets so much enjoyment from meeting these people. He loves to meet these people. I have spoken with him since (his arrest) and he says to me: ‘Why do they think I do this?’
“The boy is being punished but he didn’t do anything. And the media say that one minute he touch (Hyland’s) boob and the next it’s her bum. Make your mind up.”
Asked the nature of Lakmas’s mental disability, his uncle replied: “I’m not sure — I’m not his specialist, I am not his father.”

Nevertheless, the publicity reflected badly on the Swans as he has been put over as a member and/or supporter of the club. King Eliagh is right. This can't be deflected. However, the fact that he has a disability AND is showing contrition for the incident should count in his favour. If the Swans were to get behind a program that helps those with this person's condition it would help their reputation in the wake of this.
