Well what'd I just see, the AFL have named their multicultural ambassador officers with the comment that 15% of AFL players were born or their parents were born in another country. Makes that 15% sound absolutely pitiful as the AFL will count you as someone from another country if you are white and were born here, your dad is white and was born here and your mum is white and was born in New Zealand before moving here when she was six months old.
The nrl to the best of my knowledge don't use this pitiful excuse to boost their numbers of players from other cultures and they came in at a belting 37%! Would be more like 80% if they used the AFL's definitions

yes E quite
more stats manipulation by the masters ... the VFL
fact is
there isn't a sport on the planet .. with LESS cultural diversity then the fumbles & bumbles
it is the whitest sport there is
& it is not reflective of this nation in the slightest
it is infact
a tad embarrassing

Yes very white but also bordering on complete segregation it seems. I mean 15% of players from another country or with a parent born another country, and this includes England Ireland Scotland and wales and bloody new Zealand!

I mean whaaaat thaaaa fuuuukkkkk?
Again I come back to the awkward, dysfunctional, anti cultural diversity name of the sport ''AUSTRALIAN RULES''.

A worse, more culturally narrow name I could not think of. I believe the words used in this name are highly damaging in the same manner the 'King Hit' was in attracting bogan wannabe heroes. Australian rules primarily attracts only those from White anglo saxon folk who have been here atleast two generations. 'Tis why I refer to the sport as marngrook as its a much better name.
Seeing we have new members now I'd like to reintroduce the idea of a petition to change the name of Australian rules to something more appropriate!
I'll happily send away a letter with your names on it if everyone contributes.
So my two thoughts at this minute are
Marngrook and
Feebleball
What do you guys think it should be named? :D

Come on fellas.
You cant compare a sport with the UNWRITTEN rule of "ONE WHITEY PARENT" against other sports .

Yes I know we cant aflcrap, I know.
But we are trying to make change for the good here. Please contribute and give us your most favoured two names for the sport unfortunately and outdatedly called ''Australian rules''

The. AFL is an Australian game and the players are a representation of Australian population, predominantly Caucasian.

I dunno .
Maybe the racist homophobic 1950s thinking of the fumbleball cult.
Maybe the fact that no gay person has been game to come out for fear of the backlash.
Maybe the One Whitey parent rule .
Maybe some senile geriatric who likes to make immigration jokes.
Maybe club bosses who are straight out racist & are not punished.
Time to get into the modern age.
& KE ,a few name that could be used to describe the dogs breakfast that is followed down south.
Whiteyball
Racistball.
Derpball.
spasticball.
Abortionball.
Retardball.
LowIQball

A better question for rugby league would be how many white players play in the NRL.
It is just a islander game.

AFL is the second most popular game amongst non Australians as such. Soccer is number 1.
Rugby League is doing nothing more than trying to catch up.

Ya, that's why at least 6 countries have started playing Rugby League because of immigrants who have come across the sport after moving out here.
Dickhead.
