both from TAB?

that's pretty funny, would love to see the gulf in EPL. It'd be $1000 for some of the bottom teams with the top 4 below $6 i reckon.

Betting odds are not an indicator of the closeness of a competition, because oddsmakers give odds to attract business - not to indicate anything else.

Dave's fantasies at work again.....

theres no draft or salary cap in the EPL

Then why aren't they offering 250/1 for Dragons or 500/1 for the Eels (sorry eels)

Another dumb statement from Ncrapper, maybe his brain is cold. He could always wrap it in one of these woolen singlets to keep it warm. :salute:

Some bookies probably are. It's based in individual opinion, not anything else. That's the way the business of bookmakers works. So it's meaning is useless.

Do show me a jumper (the name given to AFL guernseys) that is not made of wool. This'll be good.....

Synthetic material, wool hasn't been used for about 40 years

For the record, the jumper I have is a woollen jumper. Not pure wool of course, but rather a synthetic hybrid. AKA a synthetic fabric as the first link given. And it was purchased in the late 1990's.

Wool has to be in the jumpers because the warmth is needed traditionally. I've always been envious of players as an umpire when the weather is cold, because our uniforms have never been made from wool - hybrid fabric or whatever else!

I cant believe the Lions are only $81. I support them & even I think they should be at least $150.
