What a pile of Little man Syndrome steaming crap that is.
How can the Bledisloe be 7 & SOO be 10.
Bledisloe gets about 400 K ratings nationwide & fails to sellout.
SOO gets 10X the ratings & sells out.
Please put a name to whatever ******* ****** wrote that.

I would have to agree with Melbourne cup... Seems obvious. Not so sure about cricket?

It's about NATIONAL attention and relevance - SOO clearly number 1 in NSW/QLD not in 4 other States TV ratings in 2 states don't mean it captures the national attention. RU would be far more popular nation wide as is Cricket

Agree, in qld they go on and on about soo for ages pre and post. In Victoria people watch it on the night but there isn't the fanaticism that you get on qld.

What bothers me about this list is that SOO has three spots and yet the Ashes only has one.
Where did the list come from?

Where is the "IMO" at the start seeing as not one link proving anything was provided?
Derp swines fan, derp!
All you need to know is, SOO smashed all again this year, it doesn't matter where the people are watching seeing as Australia is a continent with people living more or less near the ocean all around this great big fucking rock. No one lives in the centre besides people who obviously like really hot weather.
