Doesn't matter. 2 million is pathetic in the country where the game was invented, with a population of over 50 million. With SOO drawing 4 million in Australia, a country of 22 million, this should have drawn 5 million at least. But it didn't get half that!

2 million against a team everyone knew they were going to flog is great, won its timeslot where sports are concerned, said so with ratings in the article. It mentioned Union, Soccer, Tennis and something else and RL outrated them all.

Yet that's bad according to the fumbling bumbling fools here :_<>

Another 2+ million watching England v Fiji. Pretty good seeing as it was always going to be a big England win against a minnow nation (in every aspect).
Yeh well you just wait till the ratings come out for the IC.

well they will when someone has enough interest to show it .If they need a filler at 3.30AM.

& as soon as anyone in the southern backward states shows enough interest in the IC to actually attend it ,then the tv execs will take notice im sure..

Im tellin ya parra ..its a snowball effect...its just that right now its 300 degrees Celsius at IC central.
I'm genuinely fearful for RL's future if the Intergalactic Vfl start to take things seriously, it's the game for the future with its softness and everyone is a winner attitude, Soccer should be very worried too :(/

You're a goose! 2 million is shit and you know it! If it was the top rater in that time slot there must have been nothing against it worth watching! Most of England must had the TV off!! Bad news goes right over your head doesn't it?

nrlcrap, the population of England is actually 120 odd million, which makes it more funnier :(/
the English do turn out in numbers to sporting events & it is a place where Union is big, so it does give the basement dwelling virgins a false sense of security.
but all we have to do it wait for the next season of the NRL as numbers fall even more

Lets hope you're as accurate as usual.

with new members joining this forums rather often, many of them fans of the AFL & NRL
but all the new NRL users seem to be very similar to the resident talking footy board special member raiderdave. foulmouthed, ignoring facts, always deflecting arguments that he has lost & throwing in insults, that are all similar to what raiderdave uses!
so im wondering if we can come up with a list of usernames that raiderdave uses

That 120 million could in fact be UK population, Adam. Not England. That figure includes Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The over 50 million I quoted doesn't.

There 60 million people in the UK, don't you Vfl flogs know anything?

120 million, wtf did you pull that figure from?

France has another 60 million, did you add France and the United Kingdom together?

I wasn't asking you, goose! Anyway it wasn't me who said it.

And population has nothing to do with geography.

If you call me a 10 year old one more time I will take this size 9 (adult) boot of mine and use it on your head. Maybe then you might see some sense.

Before you start spouting shit I have always been conservative and put their pop at 50 mil - 2 million is 1/30th of their population there is still a VERY valid point - SOO got 4 mil in a little over a 3rd of their population - that would be very in signifigant in comparison to Soccer!
