And you say that Dave in the wild deluded hope that it's true. It's not true and you can't handle that!!

Income for the code huh? Well if we added the media rights for AFL from other countries - remember that's 69 countries against 50 in favour of the AFL, we'd win anyway!!

lol you say the same thing about AFL IC. more countries = better.

so wrong.....gee. how do you get around in day to day life?

RLWC has generated MASSIVE interest compared to the shitshow that is the IC.

And who cares how many countries afl is broadcast in if no one gives a shit?

If no one gave a shit no one would pick up the broadcast right, you goose!! But they ARE being picked up!

AFL is played in 69 countries outside Australia. Rugly League is only played in 50 outside Australia. RLWC has been around for a lot longer. In a generation the interest around the IC will be equal. Count on it!

not if they're paying $50 bucks for rights, or more likely, being paid to take it on since the AFL wants to grow the sport.

even if IC quadrupled interest it wouldn't beat out MLB or international netball for interest.

crowds would SURGE past 2k in australia. AMAZING STUFF

11 Million less veiwers on TV last year
50 Million less for your media rights deal .... but 50% more air time to sell to advertisers :?>
yr biggest game beaten by 3 RL games this year..
clubs failing financially left right & centre

nope

number 2

a giant
number 2
The only way the NRL gets close to the afl in media rights is including NZ which just between you and me isnt in Australia.

So if you count revenue, TV revenue, crowds, sponsorship, memberships, media interest, and cummulative ratings, you win one of those 7 indicators.

1 from 7 aint going to give you first prize in Australia Dave
xman can you please explain the one where the NRL beats the AFL
because it has NRL coverad on all basis,
the last few years the AFL has owned the NRL in ratings, one area where the nrl use to be dominate, ever since the newsltd sold off the NRL its ratings have been dropping,
AFL ownes NRL on every thing in Australia

NRL $1.025 billion and channel 9 controls the NRL fixture
AFL $1.253 billion & AFL controls the Fixture,
AFL got better money,
channel 9 only paid so much for the NRL rights because they have lost the rights to most other sports, due to the shit job they do!
& on the back of the 2013 season what happened to the NRL ratings
