We all know the story of Paul Kelly, Kieran Jack and Brandon Jack, now the latest league converts is set to play at the highest level. Young NSW midfielder Jake Barrett will be selected by the Giants in next month's NAB AFL Draft.
Barrett is from Temora in the Riverina and will be taken as a zone selection. The 17-year old is a tough on-baller with a great work rate and endurance and played rugby league until the age of 15 before switching to AFL.
Barrett is the first cousin of Hawthorn premiership player Luke Breust and is a second cousin of former Dally M medallist and NRL star Trent Barrett.
Oh dear no doubt more to come.............

More rugby league kids turning to the Australian game and yet dave's only concern is that it is old news and he will be watching TV so it doesn't matter.
Way to go dave. Have you any defense whatsoever?

Nope. I just buried him with figures from the source on the Barassi thread. He'll make excuses as he always does.

Well even stick insects need something to play, not all boys sadly these days are up for a proper, tough, fast, skillful game.
Yep, stick insects, sooks, viicctarrrds and bog divers all need a sport too, thank fuck the Vfl is around to help these poor unloved, useless Ralph Wiggums out in their time of need, even those types need something other than themselves to play with.

Smith is a dummy half
one of the smaller positions on an RL field
& Smith is as tough as teak
he doesn't get interchanged 41 times in a game like that Gaylord fumbler you mentioned does
seriously
is their a softer sport on the planet

:_<> :_<>
299 interchanges a game
to
10 for NRL
netball is more demanding
