Well I've noticed all the hoo haaing from our AFL brainwashed merinos in here yelling from the isolated depths of places like Perth and melbourne that the buddy news is the biggest news in sydney since 9-11. Unfortunately it ain't folks. Commercial sports news had it on as about their fifth story last night, it received all of about 15seconds. So please folks, while I'm happy this champion is in town, take it from me, it ain't big news.

Now onto more important matters. While theres been much media and public speculation around reasons for buddys move, theres a big reason and question theyve all missed.

How long till buddy is 5th story on the local news for having a trashy massive night out on the town?

Or

Will the swans pull buddy into line and realise the mans real reason for coming up to sydney?

There's no media here and buddy's gunna lurve living in a city which, on the whole, simply isn't that interested in him.

I'm right aren't I?

So KE, you going to be a Swans member next season based on Buddy coming to Sydney?

Agree with ke on this one. Lockett loved the annominity of Sydney ... Comparative to Melbourne . Still recognized but not nearly as much... It's a league town after all. Also agree re some night club incident too.

It'll jump when he's forced to take the original offer from GWS when the Swans offer is ruled out of order. Swans recruit - not big news. GWS recruit - huge news.

You missed it? He's got family in Sydney.

Which is why I said it would be GWS once the AFL scotched the Swans deal - which they didn't!!!!!

That's going to open a whole new can of worms.
