simply ..... astounding

Bearsy had a little poopy in his panties ..... apon hearing the news that the Swines had outrated the Wannbies last Sat night on TV
135,000 veiwers tuning in on the main Ch 7 station

he predicted an even larger audience for last night
No Sydney sides playing in the NRL would obviously help .... a GF on offer
wow
this could be massive :)

& while this wasn't discussed
there'd of been no way the Storm would outrate them up against the VFL on Ch9
I mean it was just a week 2 final for the NRL
not a week 3 Grand Final Qualifier like it was for the Swines

https://twitter.com/MediaweekAUS

SWines 106K in Sydney
Storm....... 117K in Melbourne

:(/ :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<>
not only was the audience in Sydney smaller then last week

it was smaller then the number the Storm Pulled in Melbourne :?>
:(/ :(/ :_<> :_<>

I mean
the Swines were up against the NRL
the Storm were up against the VFL

F me
how have the Storm ratings in Melb caught the Swines ratings in Sydney after just 2 years of regular broadcasting in Melb .. to the Swines 30 years in Sydney

I said it would happen
but even I thought it would take a lot longer then 2 years :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<>

wow
the fumbles n bumbles is on its way out folks
on its way out ....

Wait so 0 people from Sydney watched on Fox Footy? :?>

Surely the city with the biggest uptake of Foxtel would have had some viewers watching on Fox Footy right? I'd say at least 30,000 Sydney siders were watching on Fox Footy, bringing the total above the Melbourne ratings for the nRL.

A combination of:

- no Melbourne team in the AFL final
- swans live on foxtel
- swans losing by half time

The ist interesting thing was the AFL cracked 2m :\:

even allowing for about 30K watching on FOX
that's 136K to 117K
do you think more then 19K more wouldn't have been watching the Storm next week in Melb for a GF Qualifier if they'd won last night ?
me thinks it would have been more like 50 or 60K more minimum

:

wow
just wow
:?>
2 years to 30
& the Storm are on Level pegging =D> =D> =D> =D>

but but but

the conditions were pretty much an exact mirror of each other in each city

more Melbournians were interested in watching the Storm in a week 2 final on FTA
then Sydneysiders were in watching the Swines in a week 3 final

its an astounding result when you consider this is just the Storms 2nd year of regular prime time broadcasts in Melbourne ,
while the Swines have enjoyed 3 decades of the same in Sydney :?>

No they weren't.

A Sydney NRL team was playing in the NRL final, so a greater proportion of Sydney's sports fans watched the NRL. Plus the game was close.

there were no Melbourne teams playing in the AFL final so a proportion of Melbourne's sports fans tuned in to the NRL to watch the storm. Plus the AFL game was one sided with the swans effectively losing by half time.

Add fox the AFL still won in Melbourne.

Newcastle! They'll have fans in Sydney! There would also be Storm haters watching and cheering the Knights on!

Or weren't they passionate enough to do the right thing?

Strange when a certain excrement continually makes reference to that.

Who knows. What we do know is that the Swans ratings in Sydney > the Storm's in Melbourne. Plus the overall AFL ratings last night once again mauled the nRL's.

More victories to the AFL =D>

we know this
after just 2 years .... the Storm are achieving ratings in Melbourne that the Swines are .. after 30 in Sydney :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>

& the NRL is matching the VFL in finals ratings with just one form of coverage
to the VFL's.... 2

take out the dodgey part of the pay VFL ratings
& the NRL wins easily
