Swans v Freo - KE v Drac et al: The (empathy) Bet

Dear AFL supporters,

As King, I Eliagh am your leader in betting and making you look stoopid. Yes, I've outwitted, outshone, and outraged you minions with my betting smarts and prowess. Stewie? He was done like a dogs dinner  Drac? Well he went thru a torturous affair and looked stupid for an entire season before copping his punishment. Now the bloke will look like the village idiot for the rest of the year, rather than his favoured idiotess, Kim kardashian. Xman? Was shown up and held accountable for the phoney he is. I took the poor sod thru the ringers and back by simply applying his own shoddily made betting protocols to a bet we were involved in. The poor bastard was so confronted he pulled out of a bet he would have won!! :_<>

But alas my commoners, as King, I'm also truly empathetic. I understand you fools so well and can see how you might have thought in my conversation with drac in the crowd comparisons thread that I may have been betting on something that was not mutually stipulated nor agreed. I understand your lack of understanding here so now after I've just put my online swans grandfinal ticket priority registration in I want to give you poor bastards the sporting chance you've never had.

The tired, injured out of form swans are travelling 4000 odd kilometres across time zones to play the spiritedly in form Geelong killing freo dockers on Saturday. The swans are rank outsiders and paying a whopping $3.65 in a two pony race.

Yet with pure empathy, a heart of gold, i, king, am willing to take the punt on at even odds and back the swans in on a signature bet lasting until one week after the nrl gf.

I offer this bet to the disheartened drac in the first instance. I give him until midnight on Friday to take the offer. From then on its whoever wants the sporting chance. In the case of several members keen on taking the bet on if drac does not, I reserve the right to choose my opponent.

Yours in truth, empathy and sincerity,

King-Eliagh

No one take him on it until he admits he got got by Drac over the crowds bet and gives on his signature!

Again. Explain where I agreed to the wager and where I stated I wanted to bet on the nrl crowds rather than the AFL crowd?

Folk can make their own minds up whether they want this sporting chance. But if you turkeys decide to take on crap1s advice and freo win? It'll be more stupidity for me to laugh at!

All over you trolls :\:

You are an NRL supporter, Eliagh. Drac is an AFL supporter. You offered the bet. Drac accepted. Your unverifiable claim that you play AFL is a frickin convenient attempt to fog us all out of your obvious intent!

You're a frickin welcher and we all know it!

"Fog you all out of my intent"

Now why would I wanna do that?

Fact is I don't support the AFL , no supporting a prof sporting org ain't really my thing, especially one steeped in unethical conduct.

Another fact is I enjoy and have played both sports. Hence I could easily lean either way on a crowd bet. If the bet were regarding say number of racist events occurring within either org then we'd all know who I was gunna support, but in any case a bet and the wager must always be clearly stipulated like i have in this thread and agreed on by both parties. That's just common sense ya know crap1? :)

Common sense? Common sense says that you attack the AFL and the game whenever you can and the only time I've seen you attack the NRL is when you have no choice!

And now you're claiming to have played both sports??

You'd fog us out in order to avoid fulfilling the terms of the bet you lost. You are an NRL supporter and you bet that all four finals in the NRL would outdraw the biggest AFL final. And you were wrong.

You know the game invented and played in Australia - not some game invented by Englishmen who wanted to play union but weren't getting paid to play the game and exported to Australia!

Didn't you say you put in for a GF priority ticket if the Swans win? You have to be a member to do that - so what you just said doesn't make sense! You are showing that your lying!

AFL supporting ladettes crap1 and swines, please please understand that me attacking the AFL organisation and your own as well as AFL supporters stupidity is not me attacking the sport of marngrook.

Comprehende ladettes? So there's no need to get yourselves all in a tizzy and hissy fitting that i dont play and enjoy the code. In fact im quite naturally talented at it :) In fact compared to RL, in a shot period of time, i found it relatively easy to rise above the playing level of men who had been playing the sport all their lives. Once i got the kick down pat ive been often in the best players group with a several best on grounds within my first two seasons. So take it easy on me ok folks, im a bit of a legend of your game :)

Oh and swines? Beaussie conned me into getting a membership halfway thru this season. I thought it was overpriced but being a generous bloke beaussie paid half for it so i shout him some beers from time to time. I've always wanted to see a GF down at the Ggggggg.

It astounds me how little you know, yet assume to know swines. only dumb people think they know shi.t they dont so pull up your socks young man!

ahhh
the game invented in the British Colony of Victoria ... & 118 years later is still .......... barely noticed in one half of the only country on the planet its played & essentially laughed at by everyone else ?

Victorian Rules ..... Right ?
