21k at the nRL final on Friday night, 37k at the AFL final last night.

Sydney Swans have the highest average crowd for an AFL/nRL club across NSW for the 18th or 19th time in a row.

/thread.

You sure picked a bad weekend to start this thread, given you've had 4 finals games in Sydney and not one of them managed to outdraw the Swans. Not even the 2-for-1 double header lol. Especially embarrassing for you given the high cost of tickets to the Swans final.

Of course i'm sure there were invisible crop dusters dropping invisible free AFL tickets across Sydney all week....

9 and 10 were against the flow of crowd attendances. The rest were not club games but finals or internationals so remove all the internationals and State of Origin games.

Then try again.

Let me get this straight, you're bragging that some of the top attendances in Sydney are from RL?

:(/

So what! The vast majority are rep games and should draw well. The fact only 2 are regular season games shows the true story. NRL struggles in its own heartland. Sydney are only interested in attending rep games.

Well done :_<>

Yes, you're right that we don't care about rep games because we don't have them. We thus compare like for like. Club games with club games. The Swans have the 3rd biggest regular season club crowd in NSW(42k). Dave, would you like to know where the Storm's biggest crowd (25k) sits in Victoria this year?

66th.

Dave, the success of a sport is judged on club games.

Rep games mean nothing in the success of a sport.

Live with it.

we don't care ... cos we ....errrrrr

ahhhhhh
can't have rep crowds ... cos ... we're the smallest sport on the planet 8-[

:-k

:(/ :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<>

our biggets club crowds are bigger then the Swines finals crowds in Sydney these days ....
don't even go near our Rep crowds as the fumbles n bumbles is not in the same postcode

they aren't even half of those
& if ticket prices were compared ... ( $245 for an origin game up against ten bucks for a swines game ) :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<>
well f me 8-[
lets just not go there eh cockhead

your declining slime bag sport has been on a slow slide over the last 7 years in Sydney ... down .. down ... down
& it seems even a title for the Swines
contrived & manipulated as it was ...... can't stop this

You know why we don't have rep games, Dave? Because we understand that club games are the way to promote a sport!

Rugby league doesn't understand this. And neither obviously do you.

of course that's how fumblers judge it

I mean

what the fuck else could they judge their sport on :(/ :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>

Soccer .. the World Cup
Yawnion .. the same
League .... this & our magnificent Origin Series

all the above sports have these benchmarks
& vibrant growing club comps

the fumbles n bumbles sadly can't claim this ..... they have nothing else

not a thing :-k
