Will the 4 finals of nRL this weekend manage to collectively draw as many people through the gates as the single Richmond v Carlton game?

Discuss.

its not all doom and gloom for the sideway throwballers this evening they have planned a double header at the sydney throwball stadium (Allianz Stadium) tonite, so they dont look as half as imbarrassing as the league as they are to go up against the swans game

1 was a prelim final featuring the Swans on the march to the GF, the other was a Semi final the Swans limped into missing 7 premiership players.

And we're back to your tired old argument that the Swans are dead in Sydney. They just recorded the highest average attendance of all clubs in Sydney across all codes for the 19th year in a row. If they Swans are dead, how would you describe all of the nRL teams in Sydney that attract fewer people, despite having a local derby every other week?

Here's an analogy for your argument: You stand upon an ant hill, criticising a man atop Mt Fuji, because last year he climbed Mt Everest.

Dave, even if next year the Swans only climb Mt Bulla, and the year after that Mt Ainsle, the nRL will still be standing on a pathetic ant hill.

And not even killing the ants because they are laughing at the effort!

Ohhh dear drac, alls your analogies and dribble does not answer the confronting drop in audiences which raider succinctly outlines.

It doesn't even come close to providing a sound reason as to why the mammoth drop in crowds.

Add to this your wonderful avatar, gifted to you by moi as a constant reminder of your stupidity in overestimating the level of support for marngrook in sydney.

Get back in your box chump, you're a lil too stoopid to speak on these matters

KE, bringing talking footy members the true story, since '04 :afro:

Semi final v prelim. Plus this is Sydney we're talking about. They won't even get 90k from 4 NRL finals which is apparently their preferred code. How the hell can you then criticise a single crowd 37k :?>

Answer, NO

23k today, so around 75k for all 4 finals. Beaten by Carl v Richmond game by ~20k :(/

Thats an average of less than 20k per final. Oh dear!
