Lol how this nuffie thinks one offs are an indication of a codes overall performance! For the record, just look at the elimination final crowd on Sunday. Biggest ever for an elim final.

The crowds maybe a work in progress . But not the ratings, in that the NRL are well ahead and the TV dollar makes the world go around

No. Simply the opposite. There have been lots of articles pointing to the drop in FTA and Pay TV ratings for nrl.

The crowds aren't a work in progress! If they were they'd be tearing down their current venues and creating new ones!

Funny isnt it. Their crowds were higher 5 years ago, and just about as higher over a decade ago.
As for TV money, we all know who won that war don't we
