AFL Grand Final Entertainment Announced

Post by Drac »

Once again local talent is given the opportunity to perform at the AFL Grand Final with Hunters and Collectors, Tina Arena and Birds of Tokyo given a guernsey.

Well done to the AFL for suppoting local artists. The nRL will no doubt follow last year's selection method of hiring "whoever channel nine tells us to hire," so it'll almost certainly be someone from the Voice (Delta, Seal, or Ricky).

Why don't they get meatloaf back?

Hunters and Collectors, Tina Arena and Birds of Tokyo...

what is it with the afl's obsession with recruiting over the hill rsl playing musos? They did it this year for ANZAC day...and it was horrible. They did it with meatloaf, and as raider suggests, it was bordering on a bulimic patient who has taken to cycically eating and regurgitating their own vommit...godawful!

Seriously, they got over a billion bucks a few years back, why not spend a bit eh?

The AFL now concentrate on AUSTRALIAN talent! Why bring in overseas whingers like Spamloaf when we have legends like H & C and one of the best voices in the business in Tina Arena?

It's AUSTRALIAN Football League! The NRL should be promoting Australia as well to the world, but they don't have the guts to even try it! Talk about unpatriotic!
