I think that AFL is not going to get much bigger in Sydney as the swans have been very successful and so has the storm. GWS is not going to last thoughSwans4ever wrote:AFL is king in Melb where's RL is only just ahead in Syd

That may be true, but the storm crowds have increased well in the past year or 2. They used to struggle to get 12k, but now they get 16-17k. NRL must be growing down there then. Maybe that storm train makes people go to the games!Stewie wrote:The Storm can't even beat the AFL's smallest clubs in Melbourne, despite all their success recently
Storm have two for one games just about every home game - big question is how will they go when not in finals - you'd think after their success there would be 20k average crowds but no. As for junior comps there are few clubs and it's not very well known - virtually non-existent. No one knows of the only local club in the Eastern subs and have never meet anyone affiliated with it!Jackyboy wrote:That may be true, but the storm crowds have increased well in the past year or 2. the Storm are at a near 50% increase on last year =D> =D> =D>
Swines are watched by TV audiences in Sydney that would embarrass the power rangers![]()
