Origin player caught drink driving

nearly 4 times over the legal limit! It's been a shocking couple of weeks for the nRL with on field and now off field incidents.
NSW Blues and North Queensland Cowboys prop James Tamou has been arrested for drink driving after allegedly being caught almost four times over the legal limit.
Tamou was pulled over in the Townsville suburb of North Ward about 3.30am on Monday.
Police confirmed a 24-year-old Kirwan man was charged after allegedly recording an alcohol concentration of 0.197.
He's been charged with unlicensed driving and driving under the influence of alcohol and will appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on July 2.
Tamou last week played in the NSW State of Origin side that beat Queensland 14-6.
He admitted to the club that he had several drinks earlier in the night and he will not contest the charge.
“The Cowboys are extremely disappointed, as is James, in these events,” CEO Peter Jourdain said.
“James is taking responsibility for his actions and is very remorseful that he has put himself in this position.
“This is his first offence. He knows it is a serious one and that he will have to pay a penalty.”

yesterday probably ... while snorting cocaine & dropping eccy's too
but the arrangement between the Vic police n the VFL would have had it swept under the carpet

I keep telling Stewie that there are close to 2 AFL players to every NRL player and as human beings there isnt any difference between them from a moral point of view. Stewie leave the pretending that a certain code magically produces better human beings to tin hat wearers like Dave. Never mind I didn't really expect anything better from you.

I'm not saying there aren't any off field incidents in the AFL. If an AFL player drove almost 4 times over the limit I'd expect a similar thread by KE or Raiderdave on the matter. Get back what you give out really.
