so after attracting 80k to game one of the State of origin game, all the dumb fuck sideways throwball fans where all cock-a-hoop about actually attracting a crowd to a game but after a few days, with all the bandwagon dropping off, its back to playing in front of empty stadiums for the NRL

Fuck, is there ever a game where the Storm don't end up giving away thousands of free tickets? Quite pathetic that the reigning premiers need to give away free tickets at all tbh. You'd never see the Swans have a buy one get one free type of promotion.

whats funny is the giants are in their 2nd year in the comp & getting flogged each week & still get crowds as good as most of the teams in the NRl comp, with out the buy one get one free tickets

Yep, so why do the reigning premiers the Storm need to offer this? They're the only nRL team in Melbourne, surely they could sell tickets at their normal price and get over 15k?
