Well I'm sitting comfortably in my family room, the wife's at a conference showing off her research (good luck babes ), so I'm in a perfect position to watch game 1 of the SOO with an open mind. With that freedom in mind I'll be providing a novices view and commentary of this the pinnacle of RL in Australia. Join in if you want.

First observation, how long 'til kick off? The stadium is probably 60% full and the aerial view doesnt really show a crowd outside the stadium. Hmm, come on Sydney!

Crowd slowly building, still quite sparse though. Pretty unassuming start, getting a little bored to be perfectly honest. Considering a channel surf. Might flick over to AFL 360 for 5 minutes.
