weeeeeeee

wow.

On a serious note the AFL is up over a thousand on this time last year. When I look at the rest of the year, the AFL should finish with an attendance between 33,000 to 34,000 which should set a new record for total attendance in a year. I see this going up over the next few years as well, with more people going to GC and GWS games both home but more so away as they get better and with the completion of the SCG and Adelaide oval renovations. Some where in the area of 35000-36000 for 2014 season should be the expectation.

Not to mention the new Kardinia Park stage 3 is complete this round, and they're already talking about stages 4 and 5. Then of course the biggest boost to our average crowds will come from Perth's new 60,000 seat stadium.

The future certainly looks bright for Australia's game.

Was always going to happen. Last year had numerous circumstances which lowered crowd averages. The games never been stronger.
