seriously

if you want to bag a sport
VFL is the sport that just keeps giving you ammo

on the eve of the .. what is it called :-k

Nanna nap game or some such fucking stupidly name themed gimmickly gestured crap event

the VFL's overtly racist fans show they have not taken off their white hoods .. or put down their burning crosses
they live in 1960's Alabama

these singlet wearing clowns in here will site one example of Andrew Johns using some unfortunate words about 3 years ago when they read this
but

its a WEEKLY event in the VFL
WEEKLY

every other day it occurs where a fumbleball player or fan descends to their true & deepest feelings about others of different racial backgrounds

Eddie Mc Chins claims his game has come a long way
but this fat racist fool only a few years ago himself claimed western Sydneysiders all eat Falafels 8-[
better he not preach from the pulpit til he too educates himself about tolerance of other cultures .. & while hes at it

take that racist lunatic Ken Shadey with him
all the below headlines scream outrage
but its clear really no ones cares & its nothing but lip service

I have an egg timer
I've just turned it on.....

I feel very confident there'll be another incident before my eggs are boiled

'It is a disgrace': Players unite to condemn alleged Goodes slur

It is a disgrace considering the era that we're in. It's just completely unacceptable”
Adam Goodes' teammate Dan Hannebery
AFL PLAYERS have reacted angrily to an incident on Friday night in which Sydney Swans star Adam Goodes was allegedly racially vilified, with teammate Dan Hannebery labelling it a "disgrace".

The Swans celebrated a significant win on Friday night that saw them entrench themselves in the top four, but the club was also left shocked by the incident late in the fourth quarter.

"That's pretty sad, pretty shocking," Hannebery told AFL.com.au on Friday night as details of the incident emerged.

"The person who did that has to have a hard look at themselves.

"It is a disgrace considering the era that we're in. It's just completely unacceptable.

"I'm really shocked."

While Swans players rallied around Goodes in the rooms, opposition players took to Twitter to voice their shock and support.

"Speechless and really flat," Tiger forward Jack Riewoldt tweeted, adding: "Bloody disappointing

Pies apologise to Goodes after alleged racial slur

COLLINGWOOD president Eddie McGuire has vowed to seek out the fan who allegedly racially abused Sydney Swans champion Adam Goodes on Friday night and ban her from the club.

McGuire immediately sought out Goodes in the changerooms following the match, apologising for the last quarter incident.

Afterwards, the fuming Magpies president said the fan's behaviour was "despicable".

"I went in to ask Adam what happened, and he told me someone said something; you can ask him what was said," McGuire told AFL.com.au.

"I just apologised to him.

"I wanted to look him in the eye and let him know that we don't stand for this.

"This club doesn't stand for it, the football world doesn't stand for it.

"I didn't want him to go away from being a fantastic leader in what is a wonderful week for our code, or to feel that this is in any way endorsed or condoned, or anything other than that we are just absolutely devastated that someone would say something like that.

"We will be taking every step.

"Everyone knows the rules at Collingwood: if you racially vilify anybody, it's zero tolerance; you're out.

"Hopefully the police have got the person, and we'll find out and get to the bottom of it.

"They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves."

Players took to Twitter to voice their condemnation of the alleged slur and their support for Goodes.

Magpies coach Nathan Buckley echoed his president's sentiments, saying the incident was a reminder that work still needed to be done to rid society of racism, despite gains made in the past two decades.

"My opinion, and it will be the club's opinion, is that any person of any race, colour or creed is welcome to play this game and to observe this game, and should be able to do so with the freedom that any person should be able to," Buckley said.

"That freedom is taken away when you choose not to respect people of other race, colour or creed.

"We're disappointed that this has happened.

"I believe it was a young girl; it speaks probably more to how much more work we need to do in this regard.

"We'll support Adam in this situation, and we'll do anything we need to do to further improve the attitudes in society.

"Football reflects society, and this is a situation that highlights that."

Sydney Swans coach John Longmire welcomed McGuire's visit to the Swans' rooms post-match to apologise, saying that was an indication of how seriously the AFL industry takes racial vilification.

"Adam was clearly disappointed and upset, and he's confident the AFL will work through it," Longmire said.

"He's happy for the AFL to take the lead and let them deal with it."

The incident happened in the Punt Road end forward pocket of the MCG, deep in the final quarter of the Swans' 47-point win.

Goodes reacted angrily when he heard a comment from a female in the front row, pointing her out to security, who removed her from the ground.

After the final siren, the clearly upset dual Brownlow medallist immediately went down the players' race while his teammates celebrated the win on the field.

Neither the Swans nor Magpies have publicly stated what was said.

The incident has come on a weekend of celebration of the contribution of Indigenous footballers, with Indigenous Round marking the 20th anniversary of Nicky Winmar's defiant stance against racism at Collingwood's former home ground, Victoria Park.

The Swans approached the AFL just two weeks ago after Goodes was abused at the same venue in his side's 37-point loss to Hawthorn in round seven.

What a shame the so called Indigenous round is ruined by another racial pasting from a AFL fan.................

To be expected at AFL games unfortunately.
"I believe it was a young girl; it speaks probably more to how much more work we need to do in this regard.
This code claims they have come along way but lets face the truth, it is all propaganda.......................this game is still stuck in the 50s......

The players reactions sums it up really, time for the AFL to spend some $$$$$$$ so they can buy a time machine and bring their Fans into the 21s century....

In the past week it was rugby league's turn to remind us through the Andrew Johns-Timana Tahu affair that racism is alive and well. The occasional fan of the sport will of course remember league players for less than exemplary attitudes towards young female fans, which brought into question the game's attitudes towards society.

The Blues have reminded us that racism is still alive and well in Australia. It is probably just as alive in rugby league as it is in any area of competitive human endeavour, whether on a sports field, in a boardroom or a schoolroom.

Inter-code rivalry can be just as fierce as the clashes on the playing field. As unpalatable as it may seem, it is time for the ARL and NRL to learn a thing or two from the AFL and to raise the standards of acceptable behaviour on the field and off the field, for players and supporters.

What ever happened to Andrew Johns? Oh that's right, he was honoured as an immortal of the game. #-o

SYDNEY Swans star Adam Goodes says he was "gutted" when a 13-year-old girl called him a racist slur towards the end of Friday night's game against Collingwood at the MCG.

Fronting a media conference on Saturday morning, the two-time Brownlow medallist said the young girl called him an ape.

But Goodes said he did not blame the girl, saying she would have no idea how much her comments had hurt him and his family.

"I'm pretty gutted to be honest. The win, the first in 13 years, to be up 47 points against Collingwood, to play such a pivotal role just sort of means nothing," Goodes said.

More from Adam Goodes

"To come to the boundary line and hear a 13 year old girl call me an 'ape', and it's not the first time on a footy field that I've been referred to as a 'monkey' or an 'ape', it was shattering."

"It's not her fault. She's 13, she's still so innocent. I don't put any blame on her. Unfortunately it's what she hears, in the environment she's grown up in that has made her think that it's ok to call people names."

Pies apologise to Swans star

"It cut me deep, and it affected me so much that I couldn't even be on the ground last night to celebrate a victory, to celebrate indigenous round. I'm still shattered, personally, it's tough."

"I'm loving the support of my friends and family, and people in the social media, it's fantastic, but I think the person who needs the most support right now is the little girl. People need to get around her. She's 13. She's uneducated. If she wants to pick up the phone and call me and apologise I'll take that phone call, and I'll have a conversation with that girl about, 'you know what, you called me a name, and this is how it made me feel'. And it's school stuff."

"I don't know if it's the lowest point in my career, but personally, I don't think I've been more hurt by someone calling me a name than I was last night. Not because of what was said, but because where it came from: a 13-year-old girl. It just hit me that it's not a Collingwood issue, it's not an AFL issue, it's a society issue. It's an issue of what are our parents teaching our kids?"

"I've had fantastic support over the past 24 hours."

"I just hope that people give the 13 year old girl the same sort of support because she needs it, her family needs it, and the people around them need it. It's not a witch-hunt, I don't want people to go after this young girl. We've just got to help educate society better so it doesn't happen again."

Agree 100 percent .. This young girl is just a kid and Goodes put it best ... She's a kid and the environment she has been exposed to. Shows how far as a society we still need to go whether it be indigenous, refugees , women , or homosexuality .

You think society isn't racist Dave ? Look at all the stuff on boat people. I can tell you in qld racism barely sits below the surface . Especially if you head into the country areas. A couple of years back they put a Muslim cleric on the front page for Australia Day and you should have seen all the letters to the editor about how this person was not an image of Australia and that he was dressed as a Muslim etc. I couldn't believe it and these people didn't think they were being racist at all.

And on Facebook people complaining that on Australia Day three women proudly wore a burka made from an Australian flag ... The way some people complained about this as being disrespectful to the flag ... However it is okay to wear it as a cape or bikini ... Racist attitudes are rife. Not to mention homophobic ones as well. Such as some guy putting down sports men because they may be gay, as if its an issue if he is or posting articles that a sportsman was invited to a gay orgy to imply said player may be gay , or suggest AFL is a bad sport because gay people may meet there ?? This sort of bigotry is evident in our community, whether it be race, gender, or sexual identity.

The Seven Network's AFL Game Day on Sunday showed footage of a man, seemingly during the same match, wearing Collingwood apparel and screaming about indigenous players.

"Give it to Goodes because he's black. Give it to (Lewis) Jetta because he's black. It's indigenous round umpire," the barracker shouted.

A Magpies spokesman said if the man was a Collingwood member and the club was able to identify him, he would have his membership cancelled in line with the club's zero tolerance policy to racism.
