Just walking toward the stadium ... About 2 klm walk. Music blaring and it is apparently carnival day. Doesn't seem as busy outside as last time against lions ... Against freo may be less of an away crowd however it has been a beautiful day and currently 23 degrees. Will estimate cried when inside :)

metrion is a great atmosphere, i feel sorry for those poor gold coasters who go to a titans game,

it's like a third world country compared to metrion

Inside on the wing ... 4O min before game ... Lots of the outside bars pretty full ... That a pretty good set up ... Have a band and big screen tv in a grassed area. Then the members bar is also pretty full. I would say 4-5000 here at moment ..

Just did a lap and they have carnival rides and heaps of things for the kids .... Was same when I went to lions game last year except the carnival rides. A great atmosphere building .... Crowd I would say maybe 10000 so far .. Seats look a bit empty but all the action is outside

There was easily more than 6 to 7 thousand. I would say my bottom figure would be 10000 but I'm thinking 12 000 lots of late comers too , plenty streaming through the gate after first bounce . Anyway I guess we will see.

They predicted 10000 so right on the money. For mine I would have thought a bit more.

I think almost averaging what the titans get is pretty good given it is nrl heartland. Again, Dave, doing as well as the nrl is that the measure of success, it is a new market.

when the Thuns averaged 19,300 in their first year ...... & the Titans just 15,500

fumblers lined up everywhere to declare the GC ..... as singletball heartland
I mean .. they said

look at the average crowds already folks :\: :\: :\: :\:

NRL fans response
give it a few years

& the NRL fans were right ..... again
