Did anyone else catch the pregame entertainment at the G yest?

It was like > :-+ <>'

Seriously, who's in charge of the AFL's exhibition match entertainment? These old washed up aussie rockers were out of tune, out of time, and on the whole worthy of rotten eggs hurled at them. They were... just off.

It was like meatloaf at the 2011 GF all over again...*shudders

I'll try get some youtube footage up soon for those who werent unfortunate enough to see it yest. I'll warn you first though, it was amusing but leaves the viewer feeling fairly 'off', kinda like the feeling when you burp and a bit of spew comes with it

it only got worse E
after a bloke in lime green jumper threw a football at an ant or a cockroach or some type of insect he was trying to kill
then 36 halfwits chased the ball around like a pack of bumbling seagulls for the next 3 hours

it was seriously woeful stuff

Yes it was a shockingly poor display by the players out there. The worst kinda footy. Seagulls fighting over the last chip came to mind throughout the affair.

Here's the link to, well you cant really call them a 'band', to the pack of washed up b grade aussie rockers the AFL loosely bundled together for 'entertainment'. It wouldve been a better show without them imo. Quite awfully out of tune, the singing was poor and out of time, and the sound quality setup was less than amateur. There's no youtube i can find at the moment but if anyone can track it down please place it up here.

Is this the best you got .... Any positives from taking the game to NZ at all ?

I always find it strange when people say AFL looks like seagulls fighting over a chip. Have u ever watched Rugby Union!! I would call that seagulls fighting over a chip any day over AFL. But each to there own I guess

The pregame entertainment isnt about entertainment. Who gives an F about the band

Its about the veterans that have proudly served our country.
