on the 33% availabilty scale that Sydneysiders have for PTV
another 12K or so
thats an extraordinarily poor result for the VFL premiers in Sydney
just
amazingly bad ..... & theres no other way of looking at it

no
36K on FTA ... 100% of people have access to this in Sydney
12K on PTV .... 33% have access to this in Sydney
stunningly bad

I deal with statistics professionally, so I can appreciate the fact that this is actually the dumbest thing you've ever written on this forum.
Leaving aside your insane ******-maths, and taking your bullshit figure that makes no sense, you still have the Swans out ahead of your entire sport.
Swans in Sydney: 36k + 12k = 48k
Entire sport of Rugby League in Melbourne: 40k
So you've already disproved your own OP without realising it, so your part in this story has ended. However for the sentient beings on this thread, we'll continue on. 298k people watched the Swans game on Fox. We have no way of breaking down the numbers. Dave has used the worst maths in the history of matriculation to determine that 12k watched, but the rest of us can only guess that it would be much higher, without being so incredibly stupid as to assign an actual figure to it. All in all it was a good ratings night for the AFL.

Melbourne love AFL more than Sydney love RL!
4.7m TV audience in Sydney only resulted in ratings of 413k for the RL international!
Melbournes 4.5m tuned into the home and away AFL game involving 1 Melbourne team with ratings of around 600k when FTA and Foxtel are added

I deal with statistics professionally,
. .
you deal with your dick .. on a daily basis & thats about it
We have no way of breaking down the numbers
oh but we do
of course we do
the FTA audience in the metro areas for this same game was 682K
the Sydney audience % of this was
5% approx of the total
the PTV audience .. 298K
the Sydney audience if it were the same 5% , & why the hell wouldn't it be
would be 14.5K
yep
theres no denying it ... this is a fair & balanced way of working it out

600K eh ?
I'll see you
& raise you Brisbane
346K ... out of 2 Million
times that by 2.25 & we have .... 780K
with 13 of the 17 Aussie players being Qlders , its not surprising that Brissie got what it did , or ... Sydney got what it did

4.6m in Melbourne rated 600k for an AFL game at 13%
4.7m in Sydney rated a poultry 413k for international RLs 1 v 2, at a horrible 8.8%
3m in GC and Brisbane rated 11.5%

International RL less interesting than home and away AFL!

less interesting ?
RL's ANZAC test ... Metro Audience 820K .. Regional 550K
total
1.370 Mill
Vicky Kicky last night
682K FTA metro
298 PTV
200 REgional
1.180 Mill
& apparently Australians don't care much for the Kangaroos or their exploits
gee
what do they think of vicky kicky then ?
