typical of this sport & its clubs .. who are devoid of integrity & any sense of pride in their organisation.
this Barney Rubble bloke or who ever he is apparently is their biggest player
just like Josh Dugan was for the Raiders
this Frankenstein bloke turns up barely able to walk at an official function at the F1 Grand Prix attended by VFL heirarchy
sloshing around like a fuckwit embarrasing himself
his sport
& his club
plus hes done this on many occasions
just like Dugan had had off field incidents in his time with the Raiders too
Dugan had his contract torn up , & told to make sure the door didn't hit him in the backside on his way out it
wow
what strength , what integrity .... what a sense of what is right for their club & no one is bigger then it
the Raiders knew he'd be in another clubs jumper soon enough & playing against them .. it did not stop them from showing everyone they are a club that will not tollerate dickheads.
now lets look at the VFL & Whorethorn
Barry Frankenfurter ..... gets off scott free
not even a fine
not a word of condemnation from anyone
not the VFL
not his club
just a ..... naughty naughty

apparently his contract is up for renewal at the end of this season , & quite obviously the gutless , yellow ... spineless officials at Whorethorn
didn't want to upset him
He owns them now
he can do what he wants .... its ok barnard
just please ... please don't leave us [-o<
Raiders .... strong & admirable
Whorethorn .... gutless & weak

Wobbly Franklin does himself few favours at grand prix
An incoherent and out-of-sorts Lance Franklin raised eyebrows and later incurred the wrath of his club when he stumbled into a corporate suite at last weekend's Melbourne Grand Prix where AFL chief Andrew Demetriou and former Hawthorn president Jeff Kennett were also on the guest list.
Franklin's condition was seen by Demetriou, who has refused to comment on the incident. Hawthorn later became aware of Franklin's embarrassing performance but have not punished him.Hawthorn chief Stuart Fox said club chiefs, currently engaged in a contractual stand-off with Franklin, had ''had an honest conversation with him regarding how he should carry himself in public''.
''We are aware of the issue,'' Fox said. ''We have met with him. There was no sanction.

Franklin, who with teammate Josh Gibson has been an enthusiastic observer of the grand prix over several years and generally makes an equally big impact at the January polo event each year at Portsea, was a guest at Crown's Guillaume Brahimi-catered suite on the final day of racing.
Hosted by Crown chairman James Packer, Demetriou was an invited guest along with his No.2, Gillon McLachlan, Kennett and Collingwood president Eddie McGuire. It is not known whether Kennett had any contact with the star full-forward but the former Hawk president said of Franklin this week that the 26-year-old had been given opportunities by his club beyond his ''wildest imagination''.
Amid the conjecture around the soon-to-be-free-agent Franklin's future, Kennett said: ''My greatest concern for Buddy is what happens to him after he completes his football career in terms of his development and opportunities
