All bets are...?

Well folks the footy seasons are upon us and I'd like to know if bets are on or off this season?
For those new members allow me to provide you with a brief background to the two major betting fiascos within TFC last season.
1. It began preseason with our illustrious leader Beaussie, all huffin and puffin off the media hype surrounding GWS's first match in the big leage. He notoriously bleated it'll be a sellout and defiantly claimed that anyone who didnt think it would be should put their money where their mouth is and bet him. Raiderdave took the challenge well before the opening bounce and low and behold the stadium didnt even half reach capacity. Beaussie, reeling in shock and shame, claimed the bet had no clear terms and, showing his guilty hands, offered Raiderdave half the original wager he'd placed on the bet. Raider, a man of sound morals and values, turned this offer down in the hope that beaussie could be a man of his word in front of all his members. However Beaussie retreated like a rat in an alley and hastily hand picked his own judge and jury in Xman. Xman, wearing his recently given moderator badge like a lil preppy schoolyard prefect butt sniffer, quickly jumped to his masters defence claiming that yes there was a technicality which could be argued in beaussies defence when clearly both beaussie and raiderdave knew full well the conditions of their bet. Beaussie never honoured his bet...highly shameful incident had gone down in the halls of the fight club
2. 5 rounds into the AFL season KE, ever so insightfully, was already aware that this season was going to be the most lopsided competition in the history of the AFL. He called out six teams as basketcases to which Xman oh so stupidly claimed wasnt the case. KE decided to go for the bet that four of the nominated basketcase teams wouldnt win two games, other than against the other basketcases, by mid season. Xman took him on and, as round 10 approached the bet was still live and looking like it could go either way. KE, still well aware of the disgraceful lowly act of Xman in defending Beaussies bet, and not caring one iota whether he wins or loses the bet but just wanting to have some fun, decides to give Xman a flaggon of his own medicine. He finds an inconsistency in the wager, one quote saying it was by the end of round 12 and another saying end of round 13. KE swiftly highlights the round 12 option which would have left Xman without his main chance of winning the wager on a soft matchup in round 13. The entire week Xman squealed like a sow being castrated, it was both humorous and disturbing. KE, ever so valiantly and sportsmanlike, releases his grip on Xman's balls and offers the whining swine his round 13 wager on the basis he apologise for the disgraceful defence of beaussie earlier on in the season. To this Xman stayed true to his lack of integrity and refused to apologise, and half in fear of losing, and half disillusioned from the shock he suffered through KE's clever squirrel grip/dousing with a flagon of his own medicine, Xman pulls out of the bet completely. Ever the gent, KE offered the bet back to him for round 13 without an apology to which Xman, still shaken, turned down. The irony and icing on the cake was Xman wouldve won the bet
So folks unfortunately betting in the TFC was ruined last year by two AFL supporters, unfortunately they were our administrator and a moderator. Talking Footy's integrity reached new lows last year with member activity dropping significantly. Fortunately things have recovered but I think we will need to answer the question i pose in this thread if we want bets to go forward this season. Are they on or off? And will members pledge to bet with integrity like men and women?
