Ah read my first sentence again and then take back your ridiculous comment! :_<>
Yes, 'bout 2000 odd aussies might be looking forward to the next international cup. The rest would prefer watching an event where professional sports persons are involved.
Yep, it really is a truly international cup. Other countries playing our great game.Rabbit wrote:Neither are Australian's![]()

They can. We would just win easily so other countries have a chance of competing and winning.Rabbit wrote:So why can't Australia play in it?
It really puts a hole in nRL fans' theory that no one outside Australia that isn't an Aussie expat plays football.Rabbit wrote:Well that just proves what a joke the cup is

If you hadn't posted that it was a rlwc year I wouldn't have known.
Nobody else knows.
You guy live in la la land,
Nobody outsidethe fishbowl of Sydney gives a rats.
The International Cup grows with quality and depth at each passing.
That's really all that matters - going forward.

This is the sort of posts that made you legend Cos.....................cos789 wrote:The countries around the world are already preparing for the 2014 AFL International Cup.
Each competition sees the number and quality of the teams rise significantly.
Divisional structure ensures balanced competition and the spread of international competition around the world ensures that teams are prepared . The new Asian AFL joins AFL Europe and North American competitions in providing intermediate competition.
So far media coverage has been as scant a rl wc outside the fishbowl of Sydney, but that should change as knowledge of the International Cup grows. At least we don't have the totally unbalanced situation of the rlwc whereby a minor sport in NZ take on the combined might of NSW & Qld players imported mainly from NZ and the Pacific. Where other pretenders are represented by a fast imploding league in Northern England or where in typical rl form the French are still blaming their demise on the WW VIchy forces.
Yes, looking forward to the next International Cup.

Ah there's hundreds of thousands in NZ and England who quite enjoy the RL world cup. Add to that figure the same in Aus including brisbane, canberra, newcastle, wollongong, the GC, townsville, etc etc etc...basically all the most populated towns and cities in aus bar melbournecos789 wrote:You. if you think anyone outside of the fishbowl of Sydney cares about the rlwc.King-Eliagh wrote:Who's in lalaland?
Australian Football is seeing interesting and positive developments across the world.
From what I can see rl is seeing a few setbacks across the world.
