RL World Cup Year. How's AFL doing?

Post by seanb58 »

This is a World Cup year for Rugby League with nations from around the globe competing for the top honour. There will be some lopsided scorelines with minnows playing established countires but it will be entertaining and enthralling. Can't wait for the Aussie Rules World Cup. Hang on a minute.... Nobody else in the world gives a shit!

Great post. Went to the last cup in England in 2000 and can't wait for this years. Keen as for the game in Limerick against Ireland and have booked tickets for the final.

the RLWC is a two horse race and the second ranked country is smaller than Sydney in population and prefers RU.

Sorry NRL fans, your code needs farcical rep games like the "World Cup" to bolster what is a pretty poorly supported game in every country its played :wink:

Only because they beat Australia. Lets face it, RL is a minor sport in NZ. The fact a country of 4 million beat the Kangawhos when the majority in NZ like RU is hilarious, and shows what a farce the RLWC really is! :lol:

Bullshit! NZ's win was a major achievement! And I'll tell you this! With an increase in professional conduct, PNG can be competitive as well. They love League up there!

it proves my point because they have one professional RL team to 15 in Australia. They shouldnt even get close!

Kangawhos are failures and a disgrace to our great country! :/;
