"Rampant Racism" that is "Very Toxic" in the NRL

Racism continues in the NRL.
Knight made this sensational allegation last night: "There is rampant racism within the NRL's administration and it is very toxic."
"The Australian government wants to close the gap on indigenous rights. The ARL Commission is widening the gap with the way we are treated.

Well blow me down with a feather!
Its rampant amongst their fans, and we've seen it in their staff and players. Yet it goes unpunished. Why? Their administration are racist as well!

I must say that we live in a country, a beautiful country but there is still racism in our schools in our football codes and untill we can stop it in these area's and teach our children that racism is unacceptable it will continue.
And you singlet wearers are not exempt merely the number 1 culprits in sport....

I could post all day the racist stories from the AFL but i got better things to do.
All codes in this country need to lift there game to stamp out racism.

Racism is a reality in society unfortunately. The AFL deal with it appropriately and swiftly. The NRL permit it and it appears that is because they are racists to the core

Knights and corowa came across as the racists not the arlc in that article. Calling Sara a "coconut" and saying they don't want to mix with islanders.
Good job in removing these racist from the game.

Agree with Eels, the only thing I have to add is that IMO the AFL has been a bit more open about its issues compared to the NRL. Perhaps the NRL are finally starting to bring their issues out into the open since the new commission has been in charge. Good for them.

Why did the head of the NSW cheer squad who called that Queensland player a black merkin not get punished?

Larry is just sticking up for his mate ... they played together for Balmain in the late 1970's
he doesn't give any specifics
any examples
just brings out the race card ... when Percy got sacked ... by another indigenous League Idendtity

Yet the nrls racism issues are well documented and ignored by management
