With no AFL on in Melbourne today and the first game of the NRL season being a home game for the Storm, isn't it pathetic that the NRL can only muster a paltry crowd of 10,484 in a city of over 3.5 million.
Time to pull the plug NRL, as just like Adelaide and Perth, Melbourne is a lost cause and money wasted that could be better spent defending your share of the market in Sydney and Brisbane that the AFL is intent on - and mark my words, will succeed in taking. :<>

Yes G&F, perhaps it was a bit unfair of me this early in the season. Shall we revisit this topic once the AFL season starts and the Storm have to compete with the AFL in Melbourne? That should be interesting.
