Was a close match with Hawthorn getting more scoring oppotunities, but the Swans were great. Was a good win.

Well Done Swannies.

Great character for a team to hang in there when the Hawks were starting to take control, malceski's 2 Goals were brilliant especially the first one.

I am unashamed to say i now have an AFL team to follow.. :D

Let me check your Cap first make sure your not over by a cool 1m.....

I am bitter because we had a fairytale run in 2009, and to know that it was all ended by these dirty cheats i will never forgive them for that.

Agree it was unfair. Storm built that team and developed most of those players they should have offered those players less money and prayed that the stay anyway, maybe they would have.

I understand how you feel Eel, my team lost 2 GF in 2002,2003 to the Brisbane Lions. One of the best teams in a long time. Their team got extra money in their cap to attract players to Brisbane from other states. In the end they were able to build a super team because of the extra cash. Sydney Swans also have a bit more cash in their cap but I sort of agree with it because of the extra cost of living in Sydney.

You bring up a good point, the NRL needs a system in place were if you develop a player there should be a minor concession for them under the cap.

The Eels bring up so many junior players in the NRL only for them to leave or be kicked out due to cap restrictions, a really diabolical situation for the NRL.

Teams like the Rooster/Manly who just go around poaching players without doing any of the leg work themselves.

Does the AFL have this problem with teams that have huge junior nursery's but cant keep them due to the Cap?

Yeah Sydney is poison to live in, so expansive.
