Surely yeah... it's a home preliminary final with the winner set to play in the grand final. Not only that, it's the last chance for the people of Melbourne to see their NRL table topping team at home.

Just 30,000 seats to sell in sports mad Melbourne with no AFL to compete with... repeat... NO AFL to compete with... Surely a sellout yeah?

Hmm, I hear ya... not so sure eh?

Yeah if the storm don't get a sellout then that just goes to show that Sydney support all sports and not just that insular game Auuuusssssie Ruulllessssss....which clearly melbourne only follows....

Clearly Melbourne are loosing that title sporting capital of the AUS if they cant even sellout a Storm game, who have been more successful over the last 5 years then the Swans......Yet Sydney can still get 50k to a swans game...............what you say Melbourne sporting capital of the Aus.. you have got to be kidding me.......

hmm let's see....Melbourne attend tennis, cricket, soccer, golf, and motor sport in far larger numbers than any other Australian city. Just because the swans and lions do far better than the storm shows how poor NRL have expanded beyond their heartland in comparison.

Wait racing, you draw larger crowds to racing then Bathurst or the Sydney 500>??? mmmm Me thinks you talking out your arse again Xman........

Cricket NSW has dominated the Aussie team since i can remember... =D>

Soccer western sydney wanderers just signed Michael Ballack a world class player and known the world over, Sydney FC signed Delpiero a legend and known by everyone in the Soccer community. If Melbourne is the sporting cap of Aus why cant they pull these Type of World class Stars????

The reason Swans get better crowds is that AFL if just a better game than Rugby League.

While people in Melbourne like the storm it is still very hard to go from watching AFL (fast & exciting) to Rugby League (Slow & Predictable)

Eel stop being biased. You know as well as anyone that the Broncos are the best supported team in the NRL. At least you got the rest right. Manly are a joke. And yet we still filled AAMI Park with more than 80 percent of capacity!
