2012/2013 A-League Tipping Competition

A tipping competition has been established for the A-League in 2012/2013.

It would be interesting to see the interest levels in a tipping competition for the A-League.
We also have options for scoring. Presently the competition is set up for "pick score" only (see options below). What do you think of the "point difference average" option?
Scoring Style
If set to "pick score", users will be required to pick the score of the game and the point difference average will be used. If set to "pick winner", users will only pick the winner using a radio button.
Point Difference Average
Only applicable if using scoring style "pick score". If set to yes, the value displayed will be an average of the point differential per game predicted. If set to no, the actual point differential total will be displayed.

Hey Beau can you let me know if there is a reason that I have 5 wins in the A Leage but only have 3 points?????

The scoring set up for the A-League competition is different to how we ran the AFL, NRL and Super Rugby comps (ie: pick the score as opposed to simply picking the winners). Will have to get back to you on your enquiry as I need to re-check the settings with goals scored etc in the A-League.

It's just that the bottom of the tipping page says
Leaderboard Key
+1 point(s) for correct tip
+1 point(s) for correct tip in bonus game
-0 point(s) for incorrect tip
-0 point(s) in the event of a draw

Sorry mate, that scoring system is for pick the winners in the AFL, NRL and Super Rugby. Points awarded in the A-League are based on pick the score.

Apologies Jennifer. There just wasn't enough active support for A-League tipping to continue this season.
