Will Manly supporters support their team in a home final?

Gees louise, only in the NRL is it such a struggle to get your so called fans to attend games.
Not even home finals can entice the fans to get off the couch. What a rabble of a competition.
Any chance of Manly fans turning up in numbers for their team's semi-final against North Queensland at Allianz Stadium on Friday? The Sea Eagles need their support. They have got injury and anticipated suspension problems, and are coming off a bruising loss to Canterbury. Manly fans were way outnumbered by Bulldogs fans at ANZ Stadium, which surprised nobody. Sea Eagles supporters have never been known for their willingness to travel any further than Brookvale Oval for games. Some of them think the world stops at the Spit Bridge.
Coincidentally, Manly played the Cowboys in a finals game at Allianz Stadium last season and a paltry crowd of 13,972 attended.

the dreaded Friday night isn't going to help either
great for TV ratings ... horrid for crowds in Sydney
wot a master stroke by the NRL to relogate the VFL to this night & choose the far more popular Sat night for its prelim final to maximise its crowd
Dimmerswitch is fuming as it also forced the VFL to give a greater advantage to the lower ranked winner of the game in Sydney
the NRL truly F'ed em over
not bad for a rabble of a comp

The NRL is a big part to why the ANZ is viable in the first place, without the NRL/SOO ANZ would be loosing money.
It was a no brainier for the ANZ boss to give this slot to the NRL, they know the hand that feeds them..... =D> =D>

Yeah, Im sure the AFL would be really upset at the Swans v Coll/WC on a Friday night, the biggest rating time slot of the weekend.

A Saturday night final didn't help the NRL last season with a paltry
13,972 showing up.
Friday night is great for us tv ratings wise. Our crowd will show up whatever the day/night. Watch and weep Raider.

Oh dear
Like I said, what a rabble of a competition when you can't even get your so called fans to travel into the city for a semi-final. Free buses on offer to transport them too.
Only in the NRL.

the VFL wanted Sat night .... they know it won't matter wot night they play in Sydney
the telle tubbies will outrate them on TV there ... if they're up against the NRL
but at least they could get collinsthongs toothless bogans to turn up if it were on a Sat to pad the crowd seeing as Sydneysiders even with their success just aren't feeling the Swines this year
... bit hard now though
thanks to the NRL .. cue these lil fellas

Have you bought a ticket to support your club Raider? Serious question.

So will any of the NRL finals in Sydney, excluding the GF, out draw the almighty Swans?

wot a stupid question .... but when it comes from an idiot I guess its not surprising
of course
I'll be there .. along with many thousands of my fellow Raiders fans
the bandwagon is really picking up steam down here ...
if we win Sat .... wow

.. one game away from a Grand Final up against the Bulldogs who we flogged only a couple of weeks ago
expect an even bigger contingent of Canberrans to head up the hume to that one
if we win that
well

.. this town will go nutz
litterally nutz

the Swines will barely crack a half full stadium if they play the west coke eagles on a Friday night
a Dogs V Raiders prelim the following night will surpass that easily .. might even get to over 50K
a Swines V Collinsthongs prelim will do a bit better then the west coke eagles .. maybe mid 50's at a stretch
however
a Bulldogs V South Sydney prelim final .. on a Sat night ... will sell ANZ out
.. it will attract 800K TV veiwers in the harbour city alone & Sydneysiders will talk of nothing else all week prior
gee I guess you'll be cheering the lil ol Green Machine on this sat nite eh Marcus ??

Aint that the truth. Home game average of 10k but come finals time suddenly they have 25k
The very definition of bandwagoners!

So itll take two of the biggest NRL teams in a prelim final to beat the Swans, in NRL heartland, and youre proud of this?
What if the Swans v Pies gets 65-70k and the Bulldogs v whoever gets 55k?
Further embarrasment for the NRL in its own backyard.

But I suppose you should be used to it.
