Shit like this is what made it an echo chamber - no need to address the topic under discussion when you can play the man. But i know you guys sleep easier blaming me so good for you.

Australia’s Game continues to absolutely dominate when it comes to nationwide appeal.

:hmm:
    :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

the big fumbleball derpy in sydney had 17K empty seats
barely anyone knew or cared it was even on

the midgets & thuns continue to play in front of home crowds that wouldn't fill a phone box
nah
as always its only dominating in one half of one country & nothing will ever change

A-League still struggling, Super Rugby posts very few attendance numbers but a cursory glance at their games demonstrates they are in strife in Australia.
GWS is certainly a worry but does have comparable numbers to some NRL clubs in a league area that either, allegedly either hates or ignores them.
Will need to do better though.

I take it less NRL follows cared lesser about the home NRL games on the weekend.

27/4/23 Thursday Sharks 8,148 9 NRL Pointsbet
28/4/23 Friday Eels 15,875 9 NRL Commbank
29/4/23 Saturday Sea Eagles 10,107 9 NRL 4 Pines
29/4/23 Saturday Swans 31,675 7 AFL SCG

29/4/23 Saturday Swans 31,675 7 AFL SCG
for our resident fumbling spa^^stic
pointsbet capacity is about 12K playing out of form out of town side
the game at commbank started at 6pm, out of town oppostion ( the big noodle armed singlet derpy gets about the same if it started at 6pm)
Brookvale has a capacity of 18K & it was played in pouring rain against the lowest drawing out of town team in the NRL

recent sydney games without the above restrictions & for only 2 of sydneys 9 teams
40,191 Roosters V Dragons
36,697 Roosters V Souths
35,211 Bulldogs V Souths
28,755 Tigers V Parra

fact is
the only 2 Sydney teams in tank tops full of white uncos couldn't fill a pretty small venue ( one played in last years GF) , they weren't even close

&
TV ratings were just as appalling
no one in Sydney except expatriate sthn mongs give a rats about this bumbling abortion in Sydney
deal with it

Yep, small crowds for small grounds, not small crowds because of small crowds.

its the same as one of us laughing at the 9000 crowds at the " reach around "

but
we're used to fumblers & the point often being on different planets     :(/ :(/

I mean
barely anyone watched the unco whiteboyball sydney derpy on TV either ... like
it rated alarmingly low numbers

while Sydneysiders cannot get enough NRL on TV atm
put a shitty NRL match up in a small ground in Sydney on a night pouring with rain .... Sydneysiders are watching in huge numbers

put the only 2 Sydney klanball teams on a lovely sat afternoon in the iconic 48K all seater SCG &
17K seats were empty & no one watched on TV in Sydney either
8-[

:-k

oh dear fumblers
oh dear
