NRL round 15 total crowd 95,266 average 11,908
AFL round 15 total crowd 278,880 average 30,987

Highest attended NRL game was less the the lowest attended AFL game
That is truly astonishing!
Damn near tripled 'em.

Remind me, which league was to have the "mass boycott" from the fans?
I was sure it was the AFL but maybe i'm wrong......

Highlights which continue to bother the NRL>

Thursday Night unpopular for attendances
Friday 6pm unpopular for attendances

(and the decline of Canterbury)

as usual the scheduled but but is only acceptable when it comes to the league fan and not the afl fan

get over it Leroy its what the NRLOL chooses to do to maximize its viewership! it doesnt do it on purpose to loose viewers and money :thumbleft:

5578 turn up for the first of four games this round for the NRL.
A new record for a home game attendance of the St George Illawarra Dragons.
That being, the lowest ever.
Not once in the clubs history has the been a shitter crowd.

I'm singin' in the rain
Just singin' in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I'm happy again
I'm laughin' at clouds
So dark up above
The sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love
Let the stormy clouds chase
Everyone from the place
Come on with the rain

you seem to carry on that it only ever rains in NSW and not other cities! :thumbleft:

isnt Sydney in a drought :)))
and if you one day leave the comfindes of the oldies basement and out of your little insular bubble youll find that rain happens all over the world and different parts of Australia has different climates and that a Melbourne winter is far worse than anything Sydney puts on :thumbleft:

We've proven before that Sydney has a higher annual rainfall than Melbourne - almost twice as much
They sure do as it’s more a tropical climate over Melbournes dryer climate
Sydney is currently in a drought and you can’t tell me that’s Melbourne winter is far more brutal than a Sydney winter and people from Melbourne hardly use the but but bad weather for an excuse to an extremely bad turn out for a game

On par with the old NSL soccer crowd numbers.

Way to go NRL. :(/

you do realize the Rainfall has to fall over the catchment area..

It can rain all it wants in SYDNEY> the catchment area is approx 80.3km away from the city

It's looking highly likely the crowd count for this round of NRlilL won't even match the first game of the round for the AFL.
66k for the AFL. (The world's least popular sport)
~20k for the NRlilL so far. 2 games to go.

But but but
It’s endless excuses
Spouse it doesn’t rain over the scg or spotless or any other afl venue in Sydney when an afl game is in as well!

Get your nurse or folks to take you down to Melbourne for a week and then compare the two winters

Have the Sharks vs Broncos got 33k in 'em? :hmm:
Oh, wait. Shart Park only holds 22k.
So it's impossible for this round of NRlilL to match the crowd of one AFL match.
Which by the way is the "works least popular sport"
The loonies must be proud of this latest achievement.
I had my initial doubts but the NRlilL has delivered in spades.
My hat is off.
It's on my chest.
I'm reading the last rights.

Rnd 16

Cronulla will need a crowd of at least 15295 for the total of the 4 NRL Rnd 16 games to exceed the current average of the Rnd 16 AFL games, although the GWS and The North game in Tassie will bring that average down.

No NRL game has exceeded the attendance of the Suns home game (16031) and Cronulla with a current average of 12034 is unlikely to beat that number either.
The total attendance for the NRL games is unlikely to top 4 individual AFL games so far, Cronulla will need an attendance of 18927 to beat the lowest of the 4. The Carlton Melbourne game to will most likely lead to 5 individual AFL games to exceed the total attendance of NRL Rnd 16.
