yeah nice one. There arent even players on the field.

And you have a bloody hide to say Parramatta bumped up their crowd by a few k to get past the swans yet you could actually see the people in the stadium.

I guess a logical (but we know that won't happen) way of doing it is see how many attended when the Giants where playing the Swans and how many attended when they where not playing the Swans. Like I said that would be the logical way of doing it and like I said that won't happen, will it?

BTW I did tune into this game, and the pics provided of the crowd are what I saw, so players or not, it's a true representation of what the stands looked like during the game.

Here is a pic i found of yesterdays game. 6,600ish was the "official" figure. Pretty empty stand behind them, isn't it? There may be other pics of the crowd showing a tighter packed area but going by the crowd total posted it was 1/4 full. I couldn't see anything like that when I tuned in to see how the game was going.

I dont think you can prove how many Swans fans or GWS fans were at the game. This is clearly his opinion and there is nothing wrong with that. He worded it poorly with the word "everyone" but apart from that nothing wrong with what he said.

That's the reason why I started this file, Pies. He stated it as fact (ie worded it poorly). And there's plenty wrong with what he said. For all we know a few thousand fans could well have been there as neutral fans of the game just going there for the event - West Sydney's first AFL game.

The point of this file is that first game, not this past weekend or any other West Sydney home game. And unless Eel can prove his specific numbers, he is BSing. That's why I NEVER give specific numbers - because unless I have the exact stats it can never accurate.
