Considering the nrl is a by product of some convict game from England and has no relevance to Australian culture, unlike AFL, can it be a fair assessment that the nrl supports the concept of Colonialism and is therefore racist towards all who are not of Anglo heritage?

I don't agree with that, because of the presence of Maoris and Polynesians in the NRL.

History shows some non-Anglo groups were puppets to their Anglo "Masters" that continues to this day.

No it doesn't. It did, but not any more. If it was still happening all the Maoris and the Polynesians would be playing for the Warriors.
