Great times ahead for french rugby league. :DAdditionally, French Federation President Nicolas Larrat outlined on Radio Marseillette recently that a 13 club professional league will kick off in the 2013-14 summer season. Currently, Luc Dayan, former owner of Lille FC, former President of French Football’s FC Nantes, RC Strasbourg, and close to the Qatari Royal Family, is doing an audit of French rugby league clubs on behalf of beIN Sport and the Federation Rugby XIII.

This thread is about international participation in Rugby League as aposed to Aussie Rules, isn't it? TLPG, give yourself an uppercut. We are talking about international footlball here. As you have read but fail to admit (surprise surprise) is that Rugby League is growing in numbers in significant competitions in number of other countries. AFL has a healthy competition here in Australia and has pockets of amateur players (mostly expats) here and there in some countries. Not what anyone in their right mind could say is a significant presence in anywhere but the bottom southern part of Australia. We are talking about at this time, now, not in 50 or 100 years.
